I’m late posting this…

And the reason is that I couldn’t get a good photo using a flash. I needed daylight (and it’s dark when I leave home and dark when I get back)!

Made using the November kit from Cocoa Daisy, I finally tried one of Balzer Design’s stencils!

As you can see, I started misting with a bright yellow colors before applying the pink/red, and then I used a shadow technique to add some dimension.
I had to get some photos of my in-laws for a Christmas gift, and while only one of these photos made it onto the final product, I love how… natural… they all are here. The photo of my FiL, in particular, sums up his character in a unique way.

    That was a great kit- I LOVE your misting for this page- you have great control over technique. I really like how the layering of color looks on the final page. I use mist sparingly because I’ve ruined a couple of pages by splotching it on too strong after the design is finished.
